What is the Garvey Education Foundation?
Founded in 2005, the Garvey Education Foundation was created to enhance and strengthen academic programs and extracurricular activities in the Garvey School District. The Foundation also encourages involvement from the entire Garvey community. One of the major activities of the Foundation is the award of mini-grants to staff members for enhancing core curriculum projects, after-school activities, and initiatives that challenge students to reach high academic standards. Generous donations from corporate partners, community leaders and staff are making these grants possible.
