SCALE: OSSIE (Open Source Software in Education): Peter, Frank and Sam debriefed their participation in SCALE
School web sites: Lily showed the updated slide show banner on Emerson's home page

GSD Ed Tech Blue Print: Part II: David showed the remainder of the blue print

(3) Education technology issues and needs

Update banner pictures: Schools are urged to send pictures to update the banner on the home pages
ETAC meeting: date, time/duration, venue, protocol: David suggests to rotate the meeting venue
Aeries Browser Interface (ABI): take attendance on-line, post grades, gradebook-hardware readiness: All the teachers will have access to ABI shortly.
Training on SharpSchool & Wednesday PM study session: TBA
LiteTech training and other trainings: TBA
Summer tech trainings including Open Office, GIMP, etc.: David invites ETAC members to study open source software applications and to provide trainings to teachers in the near future.
