Garvey Education Foundation Gala

THANK YOU to our sponsors, attendees and the community for your generous support to the Garvey Education Foundation on November 8, 2023. The event was a great success, with over 440 guests and nearly $60,000 raised! All funds will go towards the next GEF Mini-Grant Program, which awards teachers who design academic and social-emotional activities to enrich learning in the classroom.

GEF Annual Awards Gala: November 8, 2023

All sponsorship and ticket sales directly support student academic and extracurricular programs in the classroom. GEF initiatives include the Mini Grant Program (staff apply to receive ~$500 that could be used for core curriculum projects, after-school activities, and initiatives to challenge students and reach higher academic standards). GEF also supports the Rosemead Backpack program, food and toy donations for high-need families, and staff Orientation.
