Rhythmax is an award-winning show choir for students in Grades 2 - 6 enrolled at Garvey School District. The choir gives students who have an interest in music and performance an opportunity to develop these skills throughout the year. Students learn a variety of rich musical skills and gain performance and drama experience. Explore your talents and discover the joys of self-expression through music.

We had a great turnout at the September 24th auditions. Thank you to all students and parents for participating. Final results will be announced by the end of October. If your child is interested in joining Rhythmax (but has not yet auditioned), please contact Marina at (626) 307-3348 or email@example.com.
Audition Format: Students need to present a song of their choice. The performances will be evaluated on a five-point scale (5 being the highest, 1 being the lowest) in each of the following areas:
- Vocal quality
- Pitch control and intonation
- Sense of rhythm
Commitment: Students must commit to attending all practices (every Monday and Thursday at Rice Elementary School from 3:00pm - 4:00pm, and must commit to attend all performances.
Performances: Students will be performing at different venues throughout the semester, especially around the holiday season. Students need to be present for all performances.
