Guerra for sacrificing no time to make sure we had our best experience for last year here but most of all I want to date my parents and friends when me and my days at school he wonderful Adventure they really shoot me to be the person that I am today I know this whole almonds go Extravaganza has been exhausting for everyone of us but we are finished last year Hillcrest and we have end-of-the-year with a growth mindset and perseverance is there something wrong time but please reach the end of it with Irreplaceable memories whether you were here since kindergarten Simulator X I'm sure we can all agree that we've made a lot of precious memories here as we work ahead we know more challenges on store he believes that this August will be heading off to some it'll be better this morning Adventures but we are already retarded than ever this year and our teachers have worked harder as well to make sure we are ready for 7th grade because you shine brilliant student more challenges are but you know the fun we'll have a long dies it I want to embrace on a high note we had a great school year full of activities and meeting new people even the challenging Parts help me grow as a person but I think we should focus on the positive the mistakes we made hotels have a better mindset towards problems and how to solve them I lost and gained a number of friends as the year progressed but without everything that has ever happened I would not have been any lessons or experience as I am now I know I have made many mistakes throughout my attempts to be the kind of person I wanted to be but I would like to thank those mistakes for making me have a better mindset towards Papa I want to see with you a quote that I feel best summarizes our last days at Hillcrest it says idea comes in and don't look back on yesterday disappointments look ahead at the hope and excitement that is yesca other notes I'm proud to say that class of 2020 we did it get it through and congratulations dr. Gara faculty staff spell graduates and Families my name is Sanibel Castillo and I have been honored to serve you as your is be president when I think back on all that has happened to us the school year Maya Angelou said it best when she stated you mean all the events that happen to you but you can decide not to be reduced to them and must be honest I was disappointed when I initially found out that I will be seeing a recorded speech to you but I quickly realized that in life must make the best out of every situation we can even the ones we can't control so I decided to try to make my backyard feel a little like being with you I feel Chris because I do miss all of you are items from my home including my baby sister animals the class of 2020 from my home to yours let me Begin by saying we did it you did it never gave up even when we had your answers virtual learning in our moments and failures from kindergarten to sixth grade we pushed through there are many people that had contribute to Art learning experience and I would like to thank some now I appreciate all the teachers and staff how to become college and career-ready students in kindergarten the seven habits of a successful student thank you dr. Guerra for being the most encouraging supportive and loving principal you have always gone above and beyond what is required of a principal thank you Miz Park and it's Rodriguez for always telling us to persevere for work and helping us whenever we are struggling in a subject thank you parents and Guardians for all your support especially during virtual learning thank you for thank you Miss Boris for all your time and dedication is B and her school I was also like to thank my gay teacher mr. friend is for teaching me how to build and create structure 4th grade I also janitor's nurse's office staff lunch ladies and migraine for transfers and picking up after us everyone has started something special and it takes a lot of people to make High School the best school in I like to Versailles a little about our time here at Hillcrest there were so many educational experience that contribute to us having amazing time am I part for example I was lucky to be in I learn self-discipline your work and critical thinking skills they had to get up early in the morning or in how to collaborate with others and problem-solve difficult equation we had fun working together on stem project even though sometimes it did not go as planned those projects will help us to be successful with a diamond in the future in social studies we participated in the walkthrough Dress Up characters and Lee Garza player ancient civilization game we won't forget what it was like to live in the ancient world and we can't forget the ancient world but at least we have not the last year's Knotts when we share on a positive note please still were able to astrocamp and create fun last schools didn't I future school closures thinking back on previous years I will always remember Damien Top Ramen food presentation in the when is it time to present he started laughing and laughing until his on the floor how can I figure out why you liking or what was going on another favorite memory was the game tag I will always remember playing with all of you and never forget these little moments that we shared with each other is always a blast furnace parts with sometimes joining with as a transition from elementary to Junior High School believer childhood games behind and begin our journey to Higher Learning I would also like to encourage you with some things that I have learned just because you were drooling does not mean you are family everything success because some type of trouble you have to know that if he had if we can get through this time we all have had some. strong and fierce Huskies it has been a crazy roller coaster from learning how to tie your shoes is every month I cannot believe you're already graduating 6th grade and most of us have known each other since the first day of kindergarten always remember the strength of the pack is a husky graduation class of 2020 greetings husky families husky staff and husky students dr. Rosalia and Hillcrest Elementary School and we asked you to learn from home and learn some homies you did an excellent job Eleanor Roosevelt work hard to make their dreams come true resiliencia perseverance boys and girls every time you got up and did the work even though it was hard you persevered and every time you came up with a smile even on those difficult very far I want to say thank you thank you for partnering with us thank you for entrusting us with your kids we enjoyed every minute of your children we supported them we love them great partners with us opportunities to thank all of our staff from the front office also had a hand in making sure that we took thank you for your kindness and for all you've done to me boys and girls the future is yours as long as you persevere and are resilient you can overcome any obstacle we're counting on we know you can do this we're proud of you and now it is my honor to showcase our promoting 6th graders boys and girls the future is yours you want to be we are so very proud of you congratulations class of 2020 Hillcrest Huskies remember don't let it make you cry far away I hold you in my heart remember me though I have to travel far remember me no remember me no I have to don't let it make you cry far away
