Garvey School District's core curriculum is grounded in the California Content Standards, which provide a rigorous, coherent framework for teaching and learning across all grade levels. Instruction is aligned to standards in:

The District continues to implement and refine instruction aligned with the California Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics, the 2012 California English Language Development (ELD) Standards, and the California Next Generation Science Standards (CA NGSS). These standards support high-quality, equitable instruction that prepares all students for college, career, and civic life by fostering critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
