The Business Support Services Division proudly serves the Garvey
School District by providing all non-instructional services for Students,
Staff and the Community.

Under direction of the Chief Business Officer, the Business Support Services office develops and monitors the District's budget, finances, payroll, accounting, purchasing, inventory control, risk management, food services, buildings, and maintenance and operations. The Fiscal Support Services Division provides accounting, payroll, finance and budget services to all schools in the district.  The department maintains budget and expenditures data for a general fund budget of $51 million.

The District believes that the schools are the hubs of their neighborhoods. As  a result, a high priority is placed on building and maintaining excellent facilities as much as economically possible.  Used in the evenings and on weekends as locations for community events and organizations, the District's schools and facilities help to reinforce the importance of family and community involvement.

Auxiliary Services is composed of the following departments:

• The Food Services Department provides healthy and nutritional meals for students.
• Print Services/Reprographics provides cost-effective, responsive printing and copying for the District.
• Warehouse and Distribution Services makes sure that materials required to support a robust education experience are received and delivered to school sites in an efficient manner.
