In addition to state assessments, the District has developed benchmark assessments in English Language Arts, English language development (ELD), and mathematics. These district assessments are designed to be administered at the end of each trimester. Results are used to assist instructional staff in making programmatic decisions at the classroom, school, and district level. When used in conjunction with the State assessment data, these local data help to present a more comprehensive profile of the student's performance level and needs.
